CINQUE TERRE WATERCOLORS

I painted these on site from the 7 miles of terrain that connect all 5 Cinque Terre towns. It is 11 kilometers long. It takes an estimated 5 hours to walk. There is a total elevation difference of 500 meters between the highest and lowest points of the trail. I hiked and brought my Japanese Sumi Watercolors and sat in the hot sun to capture each town at the moment of the experience.
