This original Maui Hawaiian oil painting is painted on oil paper mounted onto an archival, acid-free surface with a varnish. Due to this specialty surface (which is more expensive than regular canvas panel,) the paint becomes like a watercolor and oil combined. It is amazing. The juxtaposition of the thick and the thin paint is exacerbated and the visual experience is evocative and breath taking. Unframed dimensions are 24"x36", Framed is 31"x43.5."
